Ft private cabin was built in 2023 and is nestled in the woods overlooking the river. Just minutes from the trendy small town of Belmont, w/ popular restaurants, pubs and boutiques. 5 min to Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens, 15 min to the National Whitewater Center, 30 min to uptown Charlotte. Enjoy your peaceful mountain escape on our 33 acres. We have over a half mile of hatchery supported trout streams to fish (with a stocking point on the property), swimming holes, and private trails located directly on the property. Or with just a 2 minute drive up the road you can be in the South Mountains state park to take some local hikes to some awesome places like the watershed lake. Our cabin has been updated, and features a large porch as well as a hot tub. **Please note that while we do our best to keep the cabin free of pests they WILL get in due to the age of the cabin and how it was built. Usually it is stink bugs, lady bugs and mud daubers upstairs and tiny centipedes in the basement bedrooms. If you do not like the sight of bugs this is not the Airbnb for you!**
