The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and lounge on ground floor with bedroom accommodation on the mezzanine level above. There is also a comfortable king size sofa bed. You'll stay in a small prize-winning canal-side housing estate, with piazza-style layout and private car parking round the perimeter. On the edge of the town centre, restaurants, wine bars, shopping centre, supermarkets are all within a 5-10 minute walk; together with museums, theatres, cinemas, castle, quayside, riverside footpaths and cycleways etc. Historic Williamson Park with the magnificent Ashton Memorial is also within walking distance. Kendal and the Lakes is 30 minutes drive away.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Aughton is a scenic village situated on the banks of the lune valley leading up to the market Town on Kirby Lonsdale. Walks from the village allow you to saunter along the banks of the river lune or through the picturesque Burton and Lawson woods belonging to the woodlands trust often known as Aughton woods. Aughton also has an beautiful old village church going back to 1864 and a recreation hall and children's play area.

Holly Cottage is conveniently accessible,Just off M6 J33, 3 miles from Lancaster, 6 miles from Morecambe bay & close to the Lake District. Bus transport links to the University & Lancaster are excellent. Access on foot fantastic canalside walks, country pubs, swimming & leisure facilities. Although in the heart of the village of Galgate, this cottage offers a comfortable, relaxing retreat which is well equipped for families and couples. Well behaved furry friends welcome!

Croft Farm Shepherd's Hut, Hardraw, Pennine Way

Spend a night in Hardraw, in the Yorkshire Dales. This wonderfully crafted shepherds hut is located on a working farm, with sheep, cattle, hens and pigs. Also, home to the local working sheepdog demonstration team. Located in a small village on the Pennine Way; the renowned Hardraw force, England's highest waterfall is a 5 minute stroll. The Green Dragon Inn is less than 5 minutes walk. The small market town of Hawes is a 20 minute walk, with plenty of shops and pubs.

Bright and cheerful this small terraced house is on a quiet residential street only 5 minutes walk from the city centre. The house is open plan with a well equipped kitchen and living space on the ground floor while upstairs is a lovely, spacious bathroom, one double and one small double bedroom. Up to two dogs are welcome with the canal tow path 3 minutes away. To the rear is a small fenced yard with seating. This home is not suitable for parties.
