Situated a small apple farm, Appletree is perfectly located for walking, golf, hiking, cycling, fishing, boating, riding, wildlife spotting and the local village cafe.

The Old Farmhouse (Trossachs) - Achray Farm

Achray Farm is a working smallholding / goat farm and ice-cream maker in the Trossachs. We offer holiday let stays in The Old Farmhouse & The Cake House (sleeps 4). Old Farmhouse was renovated in 2019 to create bright, spacious accommodation whist retaining original features, along with a wood burning stove and complimented by 300Mbs fibre WiFi & biomass heating. Our location is the perfect start for walking, cycling & touring the area right from the door and walking distance from the tearoom.

The cottage is set on a farm with horses, cows and sheep in the surrounding fields and hens roaming around outside the garden. The cottage has a spacious dining kitchen, cosy living room with wood burning stove and comfortable sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom and utility room. This modern space sleeps 4 people comfortably. It’s veranda is perfect for watching the sunset over Loch Lomond. We are situated in front of Garabhan Forest, Drymen -the perfect spot for exploring. Our location is fantastic for mountain bike trails and hiking. You can access both directly from The Nest so no need to get in the car to explore! If you are looking to experience Loch Lomond we are under 10 minutes drive to the shore at Balmaha.

The guest house has a double bed with en suite with a separate living area, with sofa, TV and table for 2. The sofa pulls down to provide a small bed, but we recommend this is for a 1 or 2 small children, or if someone can't sleep/partner snores!
