This is a guest suite attached to our home. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood. 10 min walk to Baton Rouge Main Public Library and Botanical Gardens. It is perfect for a maximum of 4 people as it is furnished with a queen size bed and a sofa bed. Appliances: full size refrigerator, a kitchenette that has a microwave, an air fryer, crockpot, coffee maker (NOT keurig), toaster and waffle maker, blender and rice cooker. Two miles from the interstate, The Barn is on three acres of peaceful private property. As you pull on to our road The Barn is to the left of our home. Parking signs are clearly marked. The Barn - Downstairs is a 600 square foot efficiency apartment with a comfortable king size bed, a kitchenette, a den area with a queen size sofa sleeper, a bathroom with a shower and a 55” TV that swivels. Amenities include a patio, a charcoal grill, a fire pit, a pond for fishing, and a nature trail.

We are two blocks from the Convention Center. Please note we are not on a quiet corner in the Crescent city, during working weekdays it’s busy. Nights and weekends however are restful and relaxing. If any city noise is an issue for you though we suggest staying somewhere else.

The charming brick cottage is located on a fenced-in property on a busy street. There are extensive gardens with two large greenhouses and lush garden areas in the back. Trusted volunteers will come work in the garden some days.
