Eli Reeves Cabin at Hobbyknob farm

This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. Come experience this piece of history and make some memories of your own.

A large picture window lets the natural light in w/ a view of a pasture w/ alpaca, sheep, & a Scotland Highland cow! Enjoy a 2nd pasture w/ 4 friendly goats; as well as 12 egg laying hens and an organic garden (seasonal) & 2 small creeks. With the serenity of being in the country, this property sits only 2 minutes off the interstate and is as close as 15 minutes from the heart of Asheville.
