The Elkhorn Log Cabin, located in the scenic town of Wolverine, Michigan, has undergone a meticulous restoration to create an ambiance of warmth and charm. The restoration process involved the careful use of locally sourced, reclaimed woods and materials, resulting in a rustic yet refined atmosphere. The strategically placed windows provide stunning views of the surrounding forest and encourage natural airflow. In my opinion there is not many places that surpass this idyllic location.

Enjoy direct access to hundreds of acres of state forest land, ideal for snowmobiling and ATV adventures right from the doorstep. Boat directly from the property to Lake Huron for exceptional fishing and boating or enjoy a peaceful kayak trip on the river.

Welcome to Shangri-La! Come relax and unwind on 150 feet of pristine waterfront in then stunning Les Cheneaux Islands. Enjoy our spacious deck - perfect for sipping your morning coffee or grilling while taking in beautiful sunsets. A boat slip is available for your convenience. Please note that there is a family cabin on the property and on occasion family members may walk through to access their boat. We are committed to respecting your privacy and ensuring a peaceful stay.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

Sweet Winds is delightful set back in time farm property located 1 mile inland from Lake Huron in the Upper Peninsula. The house is a blend between a cottage, UP cabin, and farm. Drummond Island - Whits End Boathouse

Welcome to Whit’s End on beautiful Drummond Island! We are excited to share our boathouse with you here in the historic Whitney Bay area. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck listening to Loons and watching nearby freighters navigate Lake Huron. The sunsets over Whitney Bay are truly spectacular. The living space is located on the second floor of our renovated boathouse. We run a small pottery shop on the main level, so you may notice occasional activity during the day.

Welcome to The Westender Retreat—a charming cottage tucked away on the serene west end of the Les Cheneaux Islands, offering breathtaking views of Lake Huron. Unwind in the cozy main cottage with a crackling fire in the classic fieldstone fireplace, or head to the guest house for an additional private space to relax, sleep, or gather. Down by the water, you’ll find a screened-in dock house—the perfect hangout spot for meals, games, and late-night chats by the lake.
