Walk to the WATERFALL in the Russian Gulch State Park from the cottage. We are at the eastern edge of the park. We've been sharing our cottage with guests for many years and have many guests that return year after year. It's a perfect place for a honeymoon, anniversary, special occasion or quiet retreat. A rare and spiritual healing place with stunning oceanfront views from a 6-acre bluff paradise. Watch whales and bald eagles from the hot tub. The cottage is heated by propane and also has a wood burning stove. We offer the option of wine, flowers, rose petals on bed and balloons for wedding proposals, anniversaries, birthdays etc - ask for our price list. We are pet friendly and charge an additional $25 a day per pet up to 3 pets. There is a home 100 ft away that shares the 6 acres. No TV.

Relax in the peaceful redwoods while enjoying your own private deck with a firepit for nightime bonfires, and a hot tub for luxuriating in warm water while you view the stars in the clear sky. There's a fully appointed kitchen with all the amenities, so stay as long as you like. The cottage is not suitable for children under ten.

Whether you are nature lovers, riders, or want a quiet personal or romantic retreat, our place is ideal. Walking, hiking, biking trails abound right from the property. Tucked into a magnificent redwood forest the cottage has a gas fireplace, reading chair, futon couch, good lighting, desk, and dining table. The kitchen contains basic staples, including teas and fresh organic eggs from our hens. A large claw-foot tub is in the bathroom and a shower is on the secluded west facing deck.

Come star gaze from the private hot tub on the back deck. Close to a well stocked local store, Point Arena is a 10 min drive to coffee shops and restaurants. You’ll love the house because of the outdoors space, beautiful gardens and the cool, clean ocean weather. It's really nice to cozy up to the gas fireplace on a foggy day.
