The Meadow Snug

Trade the sounds of the city for the sounds of life on the farm. Our tiny cabin has all you need to get away for a few days in nature to recharge those batteries. Enjoy a comfortable seat on the covered porch as you relax and enjoy that morning cup of coffee or take a wander along some of the many public footpaths right from the cabin door. In the evening you can take a short walk through the field to our fire pit area to watch the sunset from beneath the huge oak tree. Guests can pitch a tent.

Set in a cottage garden on a hillside above the town of Llangollen our lovely blue cabin has panoramic views across town towards Castell Dinas Bran and the Horseshoe Pass. Beautiful Llangollen is great for a break any time of year. Sit with a drink on the decking, or in front of the little log burner, and watch the sunset over the mountains, or the snow sweeping in along the valley. Take a glass of sparkly and have a bath under the stars.

By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

Nestled serenely on the edge of woodland is this 19th century blacksmiths building. It has been sympathetically renovated and brought back to life with style at the forefront, whilst keeping every unique feature in tact. We have taken advantage of the high ceiling with an incredible mezzanine bedroom with kingsize bed and installed a log burner for added comfort during the colder months. Amazing waterfall 1/2 hour Lovely sunsets. Gas bbq and a gas hob. Solar power for phone charging etc. Basic compost toilet. Rustic shower. Our peaceful shepherd’s hut ‘Bryn Bach’ is situated right next to our home yet offering privacy, with lovely views of the Brieddan Hills. We offer a convenient location for visiting Welshpool and Shrewsbury and ideal for stopovers on longer journeys into Wales, or as a base for walkers tackling the Offa’s Dyke path which is only 300m away!
