Our Cottage is located in the picturesque Village of Harley, at the foot of the Wenlock Edge. The property is less than 5 minutes drive to Much Wenlock and close to Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow & Church Stretton -ideally placed for seeing the best bits of Shropshire. We are near to many great walks, National Trust/English Heritage locations and foodie highlights. We have lived in the County for 50+ years and are on hand to help and provide advice on where to visit & eat locally.

The Old Pumping Station Broseley, Ironbridge Gorge

The Old Pumping Station provides a unique industrial look with a holiday cottage feel. Set in an idyllic location between Broseley and Ironbridge. The World famous bridge being less than a mile walk. Originally housed the pumps that supplied the water uphill to the town of Broseley. Some of the original pipework and valves have become a focal point in the conversion. Fully fitted kitchen. They are welcome to visit the chickens, ducks and horses. With beautiful Cleobury Mortimer within walking distance and Ludlow only a 15 min drive your not far from shops, pubs and restaurants. Within walking distance of Much Wenlock, this peaceful detached cottage is surrounded by the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Ideal for walkers & cyclists alike the cottage offers plenty of space for you to relax & unwind. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets in the summer or during the autumn/winter months, the cottage becomes a wonderfully snug hideaway, with the woodburning stove making it the perfect place to curl up after a brisk walk through the Shropshire Hills or exploring the local area.

Red House Cottage (self catering cottage)

Modern, very comfortable and very clean. Sleeps 4, double ensuite room and double/twin room also ensuite. Outside area, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. In a quiet village setting with two pubs serving food within a two minutes walk of the cottage. Free wifi, smart TV’s in bedrooms. Until recently Red House Cottage was run as a B&B but the owners decided to fit a kitchen to create a self contained cottage for self catering holidays. The cottage is on the side of our home.

Bernie’s Cottage

Bernie’s Cottage is located in the High Town on the immediate outskirts of Bridgnorth town centre, perfectly located for an easy five minute walk into town, 10 minutes to The Severn Valley Railway, Castle Walk, park and funicular railway. This quirky 18th century cottage over three floors has been totally refurbished .The two bedrooms include a spacious kingsize on the top floor and a cosy double on the middle floor. The cottage has parking for two cars and a sunny garden with seating.

The School House, a charming 200-year old cottage.

Marnwood School House is a beautiful holiday cottage with bags of charm. The cottage dates back 200 years, where it was originally used as a school house for the poor but Reverend Bartlett in 1824. The property has been fully restored to an excellent standard, whilst still retaining its period character. The property is just a few minutes drive from Ironbridge, which offers lots of attractions and activities for all ages, as well as great places to eat.
