The Little Green Guest House

We picked the perfect location for exploring New River Gorge! We actually live here and LOVE it. Over the last 2 years, we completely rebuilt this Little Guest House from the ground up while exploring and putting together the local's ultimate guidebook of the area. Situated only 3 miles from downtown Fayetteville and within 15 min of trails, rivers, and climbing, this idyllic space makes you feel like you are in your own little ecotopia. The yurt is nestled on 8 acres surrounded by gardens and the forest. It is built eco-friendly complete with a composting toilet which is incredibly easy to use. Large windows are situated to allow natural sunlight and cross breezes and the dome in the center of the roof lets you sleep under the stars at night.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape at Molly Moocher, a tiny house nestled among boulders in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia. 7 minutes from the Gauley River and Summersville lake. 19 minutes to the New River National Park. Located on 100 private acres with hiking trails. Relax in the hot tub or at the boulder-top fire pit. My wife and I live locally. Our treehouse is located in Boulder Trail, which is on over 100 acres of private land. It also includes a common area with a covered shelter, with an outdoor Fireplace that’s a short walk away. We are located 5 minutes from Summersville Lake and 15 minutes from New River Gorge National Park!

Richmond’s Meadow Creek Hideaway Cabin #4

Welcome to Cabin #4, our fun sized hunting themed cabin. Our cabin is 120 sf, roughly the size of a standard bedroom. It has a loft with a full size futon mattress, a roll-up pillow top mat, (perfect for a child to sleep on), a futon sofa/bed, kitchenette, bath with shower, and a large deck. The Cabin is fully furnished, has ac/heating, satellite tv, Wifi, and both a fire pit and wood. This cabin is open seasonally April through October yearly.

Lucky Penny Camper with Mountain View By New River

Cozy getaway tucked into the coal mining "holler" of Cunard/Brooklyn, the Lucky Penny is just up the road from the Cunard New River Access as well as walking distance to several National Park trails. Get away from the city, experience a real WV neighborhood, have a campfire, enjoy the lovely mountain view and starry sky, and recharge. The heat pump keeps it cozy even in zero degree temps! (Bring some cozy socks though. =)

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.
