Minutes from the coast, with direct access to miles of walks and cycle routes in The New Forest, Mallards is a charming one bedroom detached cob cottage set in the large garden of our family home. An ideal place to unwind and relax, it is set away from from the rest of the property so guests can enjoy their privacy, but hosts are close by to help if needed. Clean and very comfortable the cottage is full of charm with a private patio area with views over the garden and open countryside beyond.

Stylish New Forest rural hideaway near Lymington

Relax in this contemporary rural bungalow on the forest and close to the sea. Walk out onto the New Forest, enjoy the scenic garden looking over fields packed with wildlife, or enjoy cycling along quiet lanes amongst grazing ponies, donkeys and cattle. Two good pubs are within 1.5 miles in either direction and the historic towns of Beaulieu and Lymington are 3 miles and 4.5 miles respectively away. The quaint historic shipyard of Bucklers Hard nearby has a museum, pub and marina. IOW close too.

The Garden Wing is a very special tranquil place

This unique place has a style all its own. Designed in a Japanese way with it's own Water Garden, terrace and boardwalk. Ideal for a family and children will love The Garden Wing, but there is access to the Japanese water garden, and bedroom 3+4 have unguarded stairs to unuseable mezzanine bunks ( see photos). Beautifully restored 400-year-old cottage, smallest house in Lymington, an ideal cosy retreat for couples complete with a peaceful private garden. Close to the historic coastal town of Lymington and railway station, an ancient seaport with a rich maritime history plus interesting architecture much of which is Georgian and Victorian. Cosy living space, wifi, smart TV, kitchen and bathroom with large shower, bedroom with king size bed. It also includes a lockable undercover storage for two bikes.

It has rustic charm with country modern facilities and is situated in a peaceful rural lane which leads directly onto the forest. It is very near to the coast and the bustling Georgian market town of Lymington where you can also find the Isle of Wight ferry terminal ( 30 mins crossing ) or charter a yacht and sail yourself. Otherwise enjoy a ramble from your door across the forest but watch out for donkeys !

The Cabin At Beckheath Sleeps 2 (1 double bed)

The Cabin at Beckheath offers a tranquil base in the heart of the New Forest with miles of open heath to walk & explore from your doorstep. The village pub ( The East End Arms) has a cosy atmosphere, serves great food & is only a one mile walk away. The cabin has its own small but well equipped kitchen, one double bedroom with tv & en-suite shower & toilet. The historic village of Beaulieu is only 3.4 miles away and the Georgian market town of Lymington is only 4.8 miles away. Sorry no pets

A cosy wood cabin located where forest and sea meet in the market town of Lymington, we are walking distance from the town quay and high street which offers many restaurants, pubs and shops as well as the outstanding Saturday market. A few minutes drive will take you out into the New Forest where you may see the ponies, donkeys, cattle and pigs which roam free. The studio is set in a fenced off area of our garden which is secure and dog friendly, we offer off street parking and bike storage.

Forest Edge Studio

It's just one step from our door onto the New Forest for nature and endless walks whilst the sparkling sea of the Solent shore is only one mile away. Our 'local' is the fabulous East End Arms and the market town of Lymington with its bustling Saturday market is 3 miles west. The well-appointed studio has it's own small enclosed garden within our garden and is a quiet haven, overlooking a small valley. (We are happy to accept well-behaved pets but by prior arrangement please).

Quiet, forest home nr Lymington - Rowes Cottage

Tucked away on a quiet Lane, this beautifully styled cottage sleeps four and offers a peaceful slice of New Forest life. The lane itself is a firm favourite of the local donkeys—don’t be surprised if they decide to nap right outside the front gate. With only about 15 cottages along this no-through road, the setting is wonderfully private, surrounded on all sides by open forest and fields. At the end of the lane is a small working farm, adding to the rustic charm.
