It is so quiet, and the beds so comfortable, that a restful night's sleep is almost a guarantee. Kayaking, canoeing, and fishing opportunities abound with water access close-by. Very kid-friendly.

Located in the center of Main St., on Mirror Lake, Below the Books, Beside the Lake is a lakefront, 2 BR, 1 bath. apt. We have a fully equipped kitchen, but if you don't feel like cooking, one of Lake Placid's busiest restaurants is located right next door. There is in-floor heat in the bathroom, a full-size washer and dryer and the bedrooms have wall-mounted AC. You will have your own private deck with gas grill, and access to Mirror Lake. Come enjoy Tupper Lake and the Adirondacks in this year-round lakefront 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin on Little Wolf Pond. Situated right on the waters edge, the views will wash away all your stress. Steps down to the lake for swimming access. Or take out the canoe, 2 kayaks or 2 paddle boards and explore the grassy inlet to the pond, Little Wolf Beach, and the mountains poking up between the trees. July/Aug reservations are Saturday to Saturday only. Dogs are welcome, but must be on reservation
