Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. The cottage is on a ten acre property surrounded by nature in every direction. The cottage is spacious with unique features like an outdoor bath and a lovely rainforest driveway. Rare and endemic species of rainforest and fruit trees. Wildlife and birds live and visit the property . Tree kangaroos nearby. The Crater Lakes National Park and several towns are only a 10 min drive. Secluded and magical in it's nature , Wompoo is the place to stay and take in natures ever changing ambience.

Lakeside Loft

The Lakeside Loft is the ultimate relaxing getaway. It is a luxury pole home, nestled in the tree tops. It boasts three levels all with breath taking panoramic views of the Lake. The back yard has direct access to the lake for water sports for most of the year. We have a canoe and kayak for guest use. The closest boat ramp is located at Tinaburra which is only a couple of mins away. Yungaburra village is also a couple of mins drive and it is 15 min to Atherton and just over 1hr to Cairns.

The Footbridge Garden Studio

The Footbridge is a one bedroom studio on the doorstep of beautiful Horseshoe Bay. Adult guests, whether your a single or couple , will enjoy a private courtyard and own pool. A queen size bed with attached en suite. Not suitable for infants and children. A brief walk ,160 steps, to great cafes, restaurants, beach, and bush walks. Mammals include Tree kangaroos and Herbert River and Green Ringtail Possums.
