Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

Sundial Cottage, Northumberland National Park

Located in the Northumberland Village of Netherton this 2 bed cottage located within the Northumberland national Park. The cottage was previously owned by the Armstrong family owners of Craigside and Bambrugh Castle. In the past its been a post office and a sweet shop. Fully refurbished to a high standard to provide guests with a luxurious relaxing stay. Close to all of the Northumberland Coastal and Country favourites as well as some secret ones. Perfect for hill walking, running or cycling.

The coast is about 30 minutes away, plenty of National trust buildings and interesting gardens within an hour including Alnwick Castle & gardens (Harry Potter/Downton Abbey film location), Cragside, Wallington etc Well and comfortably furnished. Wifi. A good place for couples and solo adventurers. Matfen hall and Vallum 5 miles or so away if you are coming to a wedding

The Granary is located on a working farm in the heart of Northumberland's International Dark Sky Park. It has kitchen/living area upstairs to make the most of the fabulous views. Welcome to SHEP – your cosy shepherd’s hut on a vintage military lorry, nestled along an old railway line on our family farm in the Scottish Borders. Snuggle up by the wood-burning stove in winter or throw open the French doors for a summer BBQ. Ideal for couples, families or solo stays. Optional wood-fired hot tub – £70 per stay (please book in advance). Pre-light service can be requested but is not always available. Extra logs can be purchased for £15 per bag.
