Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

McDonald Cove Cabin

Rustic cozy cabin. Open concept for easy entertaining with glorious views of the water. Main floor bedroom with Queen bed plus open loft with Queen bed. The cabin has one bathroom opposite the downstairs bedroom. Great outdoor living with two decks; front deck facing the waterfront. Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use. One exterior security camera, which monitors the driveway is present.

'The Cove' Private Lake Cabin with Sauna & Hot Tub

This updated, fully furnished cabin on Lake Sutherland is exactly what you need. APicture this: Wake up, pour a cup of coffee (or a mimosa) and cozy up with an absolutely perfect view of the lake. Sit inside by the wood fire or roast s'mores outside. Play some yard games, go kayaking or paddle boarding. The opportunities are endless. Our cabin is one of the only spots right on the water with a private oasis of the lake. Sauna/ Hottub! Minutes from the Olympic national park. Zero step entry.

Waterfront Cabin on the Sound

Looking for a quiet place to get away “glamp” - our special cabin is the place for you. The cabin is SMALL and cozy. Right on the water with use of kayaks, paddle boards, & canoe. It features a queen bed in upstairs sleeping loft as well as a couch that pulls out into a double size sleeper, covered kitchen & private hot shower located OUTSIDE. There's an easy-to-use Incenelet toilet. Someone will meet you to go over check-in when you arrive. We allow you to bring 2 dogs - $50 each.
