Tucked away in the heart of the Cotswolds, the Retreat is situated within a secluded & idyllic south-facing meadow. Charming, riverside log cabin on the bank of the Kennett, overlooking a nature reserve. Privately located in my back garden there is a large open plan room with 2 double sofa beds, sleeping 4, a slate bed pool table & Hi Fi system. There's a luxury en suite bathroom with copper bathtub, shower, basin & WC. There are basic kitchen facilities with kettle, toaster, double hot plate, microwave & grill, sink & refrigerator/freezer. A veranda with 2 bbq's & seats plus lower deck overlook the river.

Field End Contemporary rural barn

A small barn built with friends during a barn raising. Simple, stylish, with underfloor heating, compact but with a sense of space. Deck with hammock and barbcue extends into fields at the back. Private, lovely spacious comfortable beds , rustic but with a touch of luxury. Thirty minutes to Oxford, two minutes drive to village of Great Tew and Soho . One of three properties on site ( we live in one) the other is called The Artists House and if booked together can sleep 12 guests in total.

It's an ideal base for a short break visiting the Cotswolds, Oxford, Blenheim Palace, Silverstone and Stratford-upon-Avon, or relaxing after a day's shopping in Bicester Village. The cottage is located on our smallholding at the edge of the picturesque village of Steeple Aston. We are also very popular with people who need a comfortable base while working away from home.

Our Mirror Houses are located in a remote area of a family-run farm near the Oxfordshire village of Kirtlington. They are hidden away in woodland in the grounds of the Kirtlington Park Polo Club, next to a Capability Brown-designed lake. Surrounded by stunning landscape and reflecting the trees and nature around them, the Mirror Houses offer a peaceful and idyllic retreat from city life.

The space is a sumptuous and comfy open plan barn adjacent to a Manor House set in 5 acres of garden. The barn is located near to popular Hungerford and renown Marlborough. A couple or single person could stay. No pets or babies allowed. They'll be a selection of cereals, bread, butter, jam and marmalade for you to have for breakfast.
