Our property is a private & homey spot for those craving a taste of the country but still want to be close to amenities of Pictou. New updates to the unit include new bedroom flooring, new beds, & new refrigerator. Animals on property! Golden Retrievers, chickens, ducks, bunny rabbit & cats. 5-10 min drive to: Pictou, Sobeys, beach, Caribou-PEI Ferry, walk/bike trail. *Please note the 2nd bedroom is ONLY accessible through the first bedroom. Experience rustic-modern living in our cozy cabin with a view! Rest in our loft on a queen bed, or on the main floor on the double sleeper sofa. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, utensils, and propane cooktop. Enjoy entertainment with a 24" smart TV upstairs. Outside, unwind in the private hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or relax with a book in your favourite adirondack chair, and savor meals at the picnic table. Your perfect escape awaits amidst nature's beauty.

Private Hot Tub River Retreat

The “Kenzie B” cottage is a newly built cottage with unique features throughout like a sliding steel barn door, a steel shower and old barn beams along the ceiling. The covered veranda off the front of the cottage provides you with stunning views of the tidal river and a private hot tub overlooks the river as well. Swim, boat, float, whatever you wish, the river awaits! We also have a motorized floating picnic table for rent if you'd like to explore the river some more.

Luxurious Riverside Retreat

Come and enjoy a little piece of heaven in this fully equipped River front cottage. Situated on picturesque River John with one of the best sunsets in Nova Scotia on your deck. Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom cottage, complete with heat pump, dishwasher, washer & dryer (free), and BBQ. Enjoy a river side deck as well as a floating dock (May to November) in the river channel (deep enough for most boats and perfect for kayaking or canoeing or swimming).

Set back from a clifftop on the Northumberland Strait, 3 minute walk to beautiful sandy beach. 1900 sq. ft. Cottage has been completely renovated inside with new kitchen, bath, flooring, all furnishings and appliances replaced. 30ft. Front deck has covered and open sections. Stainless steel appliances, microwave, dishwasher, tv /w DVD player, Roku TV, surround sound stereo, full tub and shower. Three bedrooms, sleeps six. Crib available upon request.
