This traditional stone built villa sits in the centre of the village opposite a 17th century church, with free parking and EV (Sorégies) charging point. The local bar/shop is a two minute walk. Villa Lierre is 5 mins from a large supermarket at L’Isle Jourdain. The Circuit du Val de Vienne is 15 minutes away by car. There are historic towns to explore nearby, and the river Vienne is a short walk through the village.

The only noise here comes from the birds, wildlife & the sheep in the surrounding fields. Owner lives on site in adjacent farm house. Many local bars & excellent restaurants.

During your stay you will have exclusive use of the heated swimming pool and a large Moroccan style barn.

The beautiful old Abbey Town of Charroux is 8 Kms distant and we are within half an hour of Civray, Ruffec & Confolens.

La Perdrix gite is deceptively spacious (60 sqm) blending charm and character with original beams and exposed stone walls. Ideal for 2 but can accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. Ground floor: main bedroom with king size bed, bathroom, kitchen, living/dining room. Upstairs: 1 double bed on the mezzanine. All linen and bathroom towels provided. The private terrace is equipped with table, chairs & parasol overlooking the amazing heated pool and countryside beyond. Sorry no pets.

This area is particularly known for its clear night skies and amazing star gazing. Just 3 km from the nearest shop/cafe bar and 13 km from the picturesque town of Confolens with shops, super markets, boulangeries, restaraunts, cafes and cinema. Poitiers, Angouleme & Limoges are about 45 min car journey from Epenede, offering Air & Rail links.
