The house is situated on the site of an old 15th Century chateau and stud farm in more than 40 acres of beautiful countryside and lovely walks. Stunning en-suite bathroom and luxury kitchen. King sized bed with orthopedic mattress and Egyptian linens. All towels, including pool towels provided Sofa bed to provide for 2 additional guests.

La Maison Mignonne is renovated stone cottage, situated in a quiet hamlet in the Haute-Vienne region of South West France. It has been sympathetically restored, combining traditional character with contemporary comfort. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two singles), bathroom (with bath and shower), and open plan lounge-kitchen downstairs. All mod cons are provided: dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, wood-burning stove, TV.

A walk can be enjoyed from the cottage, along a path along the Vienne River. You can reach Chauvigny on foot or by bike along the trails. There are a few chickens on the grounds. Cet ancien moulin (milieu XIXe), rénové avec soin, aux portes du Marais Poitevin, est classé "4 étoiles meublé de Tourisme". Sur 3 niveaux, ce moulin respecte l'architecture traditionnelle locale et la nature qui l'entoure. Le moulin a gardé son escalier de meunier étroit et d'origine. Alliant bois, enduit extérieur à la chaux, matières nobles, il est tourné vers le respect de l'environnement.
