Mountain cottage overlooking the sea

On the lushly green Mount Pelion, in an authentic village, our house combines access to the sea (10 km) and ski resort area (7 kms). It can serve as a base for walking or driving to the many pictureque villages and beaches of this mountain. The house includes a garden with shady trees, also cherries and apricots in their season, and is only two minutes away from a mini market, restaurant, pharmacie and the wonderful square. Fully equipped and provided with maps and books about the region.

"Estia" is a fully renovated, spacious 2nd floor apartment, located in the heart of the city of Volos, with the best view of the main square of St Nicholas. The apartment is located next to the pedestrian commercial Ermou Street, with many lovely coffee shops, restaurants and shops. In just 5 min of walking, you can reach the water front, the promenade and the Harbor area. The apartment is situated at 5-7 min walking distance from a community parking.

The house stands in the historic village of Portaria Pelion and it is about 500 m. from the central square. It's altitude is 630m., and has a spectacular view to Pagasitikos and the town of Volos. Last but not least the beautiful beaches of Pelion are located in 31km. from Portaria.

Εκεί δίπλα βρίσκεται η πλήρως ανακαινισμένη πέτρινη οικία που προσφέρεται για να περάσετε στιγμές ηρεμίας και χαλάρωσης ατενίζοντας την πανοραμική θέα που σας προσφέρεται απλόχερα. Χώρος απλός λιτός όπως αρμόζει σε ένα χωριό του Πηλίου.

Το διαμέρισμα μας είναι ένας ζεστός και φιλόξενος χώρο για αυτούς που θέλουν να ανακαλύψουν τη φυσική ομορφιά του βουνού, σε απόσταση αναπνοής από την πόλη του Βόλου. Η τοποθεσία είναι ιδανική, στα καλντερίμια της Πορταριάς, και το σπίτι μπορεί να φιλοξενήσει μέχρι 5 άτομα.

The chalet was built in 1928 with local stone from Pelion and has a special architectural design and was recently completely renovated (2016). The view is impressive and the interior of the house boasts the romance of another era with all modern-day comforts. The property has two floors and a garden (1000 sqm).
