The Old Gun room

The Old Gun Room is a sympathetically refurbished self contained annex to an 1840s home set in land and gardens in the Shropshire Lakelands a mile from the village of Welshampton and near to the town of Ellesmere. This is a fully self contained holiday let with an en-suite bedroom with king size bed, kitchen diner with log burner and seating area. There is ample off road parking and access to the gardens, which have been opened for the National Garden Scheme, and croquet

Kitchenette includes small hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, crockery, cutlery and basic utensils. Double bed with luxury Simba mattress and ensuite with power shower. A well presented one bedroom cottage 3 miles north of Wem and 6 miles south of Whitchurch in the beautiful North Shropshire countryside. Piggery Cottage sleeps 2 plus 1 (double bed and small sofa bed) and sits adjacent but separate to the owners home. Bookings start with a minimum of 2 nights and stays for longer periods are also welcome (discount applied).

Gîte 63A is a self contained annex (old barn) at the side of our Grade 2 listed home and shop. The Gîte is accessed by a separate entrance. It’s cosy, quirky and quiet, contemporary furnished with all amenities needed to make your stay relaxing, enjoyable & stress free. Parking is just around the corner in the public car park.
