Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Unique experience for people looking to travel around Iceland or for those who prefer just to stay in and enjoy the wild countryside. With a beautiful 360° scenery and a grand pateo you can enjoy mesmerizing sunsets and spectacular northern lights showings, given the complete lack of light pollution. It's the photohgrapher's dream location. Eyjafjallajökull and Seljalandsfoss can be seen from the apartment. 4x4 is necessary during winter as the path leading to the house can get very snowy.

Urriðafoss Waterfall Lodge 1

Urriðafoss Apartments is located in amazing nature, at the front of the waterfall Urriðafoss, that is located in the River Þjórsá in Southwest Iceland. The house was built 2018 and has a big windows so our guests can enjoy the view. The house is surrounded by beautiful wildlife at the summer time and the northern lights at the winter time. Urriðafoss Apartments is fully equipped with wifi, TV, combo washing machine and dryer, coffee machine, fridge, all necessary kitchen tools and hot tub.

Laxfoss Luxury Lodge | Waterfall Lodge

Enjoy majestic views overlooking the waterfall, with mount Baula towering over the Norðurá-valley to the North and the Skarðsheiði mountain range to the South. The lodge is located in Borgarfjörður, an hour's drive from Reykjavík. It sits on a large private land where you will find tranquility and relaxation. The crackle of the wood-burning fireplace creates a cozy ambiance indoors, while the sauna is perfect for relaxing after exploring the endless trails and hikes the area has to offer.

Eyvindarholt Cabin

There is a beautiful view from the cabin towards the mountain range Fljótshlíð and the Tindfjallajökull glacier. The cabin is the perfect place to stay if you visit South Iceland. It is near many main attractions, such as waterfalls, glaciers, black beaches, and volcanoes. The cabin has space for four people, with one bedroom with a double bed and one bunk bed with two beds in the living space. Small kitchen and living space, as well as a bathroom with a shower, good internet and a smart TV

Auðsholt 2, The old house

Your visit to Iceland will be a brease with this house as basecamp. This unike propety is clouse to evrything on the south coust . The "Old house" is in the center of evrything on Southwest part of Iceland. You have Geysir and Gullfoss about 40min away, the Seacret lagoon 10min, Laugarás lagoon is 20min and Friðheimar 35min away. The national park Þingvellir is about 45min from us. Mt.Hekla is in plain sight and the river Hvítá, glaiserriver from the waterfall Gullfoss runs by the house.

The Nest @MagmaCabin

Looking for off the grid aurora sighseeing cozy cabin with sauna? Then Hvílusteinn is perfect as a getaway from the city into the wilderness & as a base camp for South Iceland, within 100 km you have most of Iceland's popular gems! Airport about 170km away. It's nice to just enjoy the local nature and the northern lights in this remote and secluded area of the countryside with a private outdoor shower and shared indoor shower and a sauna. Secret Cabin Hvítárdalur

Perfect stay for exploring south Iceland and enjoy nature and the northern lights in winter. Beautiful cabin by the river Hvítá in a prime location in the Golden Circle. Near Gullfoss and Geysir and only 100 km to the capital city Reykjavík. The cabin can accommodate 2-4 persons. One bedroom with beds for two people. In the living room there is a pull-out sofa for two persons. The kitchen is fully stocked. The bathroom has a shower and the laundry room has a washing machine and a dryer.

You can relax in the hot tub and enjoy amazing views of the horizon during the summer and you might see the northern lights during the winter. It's a perfect location for day trips to discover the Snæfellsnes peninsula and the silver circle and it's not far from the golden circle either.

Ideal conditions to enjoy the Northern Lights in our cozy little house. We are located 8 km from Hvolsvöllur and the main viewing points of South Iceland are a short drive away. Places such as Seljalandsfoss, Þórsmörk, Vestmannaeyjar, Vík and Reynisfjara are within 1 hour's drive. Everything is there to have an adventurous experience in Iceland.

Our newly renovated cottage is in the centre of the golden circle overlooking the Tungufljót river. There are spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers from the house. The house is a perfect base from which to explore the fantastic sights the golden circle and the surrounding area has to offer. All the main attractions such as Geysir (less than 10 mins drive), Gullfoss (under 20 min) and Thingvellir (about 40 min) are easy to get to from the cottage.
