You can stroll along the canal bank, catch a train from Risca train station which is 4minutes walk away (270yds) to Cardiff to an event (30 minutes by train). You can cycle or walk in the Cwmcarn Forest Drive 5 miles away or the Syrhowy Valley trail enjoyable for all levels of fitness and ability. You can relax and enjoy the lovely cottage in the light, comfortable indoor space or the pretty garden.

We have 6 (3 listed) refurbished rooms in the Coach House which sits in the courtyard of our 16th century Inn. Our home is a cozy stone walled, oak beamed, traditional Inn with an inglenook fireplace, perfect for relaxing and using as a base if you are looking for holidays around cycling, riding, walking, fishing, sightseeing, bird watching, there is so much to do here in the valleys of Ceredigion. We are 25 mins from the coast too! We welcome pets in specific rooms, we are not licensed.

Easy access to the hiking trails of the Brecon Beacons and only minutes from the main A40 access road. The perfect location for walkers, birdwatchers and fishermen. For cyclists the renowned Black Mountain begins 500 metres from the gate. Cars and motorcycles have plenty of room to park.
