Self contained cottage surrounded by amazing bird life, kangaroos, emus, echidna, wallabies and deer. Country life with all the comforts. Homemade bread, farm eggs, mulberry jam / butter , teas / coffee, milk are all provided for guests to make breakfast at their leisure. Cooking oils and condiments, assorted teas/coffee/milo, Anzac biscuits and access to cottage herb garden.

Hillrise Cottage is a peaceful and picturesque property on a hill above the gum trees with spectacular views of the Grampians to the west. 15 km from Ararat and 30 km from Halls Gap, Hillrise Cottage is a great base for exploring the beautiful Grampians region, (30mins away), taking in the local wineries or just relaxing. Chill out in this unique home, stroll around the 6 acre property and check out the large dam, beautiful trees and abundant wildlife. Hillrise is 2.5 hours west of Melbourne.

Laharum Grove offers a unique and remote experience on a large working olive grove. The 300 acre property shares a 2.5km border with the Grampians National Park and backs onto the stunning western escarpment of the Mt. Difficult Range. The farm house includes 4 bedrooms, 2 living spaces and 2 bathrooms. A breezeway connects the living spaces to the sleeping spaces. Some of the best walks in The Grampians are a short drive away (Mt. Zero, Mt. Stapylton, Hollow Mt., Zummsteins, McKenzie Falls).

Our retreat is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway. We are located 5 minutes from Halls Gap, and close to all the Grampians has to offer including local wineries.

Handcrafted Shack, Halls Gap, Grampians (Gariwerd)

Wander through the trees to our handcrafted Shack, lovingly built from recycled materials, with breathtaking panoramic views over our regenerative farm to the mountains beyond. Inside snuggle by the wood heater, outside relax on a hand hewn red gum deck with built-in bath, outdoor shower. The outhouse provides views across the wetlands and its wildlife! Gariwerd walks are a 10 minute stroll away, as is good coffee, the local brewery and the eateries of Halls Gap. Come and connect!

The Van in the Bush

Located at the foot of Mt. Cassell, part of the Grampians Range, on 20 acres of bushland. Only a 10 minute drive to Halls Gap and the Grampians National Park trails. Perfect for a romantic getaway or peaceful retreat. Unwind, switch off, and enjoy the quiet. From April to November you can enjoy the firepit, and if you’re lucky you may spot the 3 ponies and a donkey who roam the property freely. Simple caravan stay. Safe, warm and peaceful. A nostalgic outpost at the southern gateway to Victoria's glorious Grampians mountain wilderness, Salt Creek Cottage is nestled in the heart of the historic township of Dunkeld, a gentle walk from the main street, shops, cafe's and the iconic Royal Mail Hotel. Our charismatic colonial-style cottage fondly known as 'Salty', is the perfect base camp for the epic walks of the Grampians National Park, her moody interior sets the scene for the perfect intimate getaway.

The Black Horse Inn - Coleraine

Built c 1854 as a coaching station, an addition was built in c1876 - this section is now available for guests. The apartment sleeps up to 4 adults with a queen sized bed in a separate bedroom, as well as a very comfortable queen sized sofa bed in the huge lounge area. There is a fully equipped kitchen also full separate laundry. There is an electric 'log fire' heater as well as split systems in both the lounge and bedroom. Free wifi and built-in USB charger.

On the edge of Rocklands Reservoir, 4 bedroom home

On the far side of the Grampians, nestled in stringy bark bushland on the edge of Rocklands sits Yangoora. Once home to farmers, bee keepers, rose growers and tree changers, now yours to enjoy. Settle on the deck as the red necked wallabies shyly appear and native birds splash and natter in the coolness of the birdbath. Kayak the clear water, try your hand at catching a fish or wander the dirt track to explore and be captivated by the bush.

The cottage is light and airy with full picture windows facing the mountains, this includes the main bedroom. A deck also allows outdoor access of the same views. It is fully self contained and you do not have to share any part of it with others not in your group. Both bedrooms and the lounge room have reverse cycle air conditioners, and ceiling fans. Fast WIFI is also available at the cottage, perfect for those working away from home.
