Our working ranch offers ocean views and tranquility among the redwoods. The 2 bedroom flat, occupying one floor of our home, includes an open living and kitchen area. Bike beautiful local roads, hike our ranch, or relax with a book. We are next to Willow Creek park as well as the lovely town of Occidental. Guests can collect eggs, pet horses, or even scratch a 450 lb. pig! We offer wifi and free phone use. Cell service is minimal. We are just 3 miles west of Occidental on a secluded property.
You will have an entire floor (1,200 sqft.) including 2 bedrooms and 1 bath with an open living, kitchen and dining area framed in by old growth redwood beams. The place has been recently remodeled. Enjoy picture windows looking out onto redwood groves and a distant ridge. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a double and a single bed. An additional single mattress is available.

Guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor spaces around the house (e.g. bbq in the yard, sunny deck, reading area under the redwoods, among others). We have miles of hiking and the local biking is renown (we're on the Levi's Gran Fondo route, and Coleman Valley Rd frequently features in the Tour of California).

We live upstairs and we're always happy to answer questions and provide suggestions for things to do and places to eat.
Otros aspectos destacables
We have no cell service that works well at our house. You are welcome to use the landline to receive and make calls You will have access to reliable internet.
Since we live upstairs sometimes you can hear noise, but we do our best to keep it down.
We do not have a dishwasher in the flat.
Our home is remote!
Like going to the snow? We have a cabin that we also share- Alpine log cabin in Soda Springs near Truckee and close to top ski resorts.
We will allow one dog per reservation, but we will need to know up front if you want to bring a dog and there will rules regarding a dog such as it must be on leash, you must pick up after it, must not be left in unit alone etc. We love dogs, but we have a lot of small livestock that dogs love to chase as well as 100 acres without fencing to keep a dog in (that's why we don't have a dog here). The rules are for the safety of your dog and our animals. There may also be times of the year when we dont want dogs on the ranch such as when our animals will be birthing. Thanks for understanding.
