I invited Jeanette in for coffee the first morning that she was with us. We spoke for about an hour, I asked if she was comfortable and what else she might need and explained that there was an individual heating unit for the room that she could control just in front of the bathroom. It seems odd that she would not have turned the heater to the temperature that she desired. The unit has a non-locking door to the enclosed porch. Inside the enclosed (heated) porch there is a wooden chest that had the key to the room on top of it. There has never been any indication that there would be a "lock-box" on the exterior door. Since Jeanette and I spoke (having coffee in my living room) and realized that we had mutual friends in Lake Forest, I wish that she had been more forthcoming during her stay.
The directions on how to locate the room are very specific, before anyone arrives, I make sure to tell them" please park in front of or behind the tree with the addresses on it. The room is at the far south side of the house, there is an enclosed porch with seasonal wreaths on the windows. The porch light is directly next to the entry door. Once inside the enclosed porch, the key to the private room is on the small wooden table to the right of the locked door." When Jeanette visited for coffee in the morning, I showed her how to access the "Wi-Fi" on her cell phone, she had a letter capitalized that should not have been. I have had a "booster" installed when I first began hosting so that guests will not have a internet problem problem. There is a laminated page of all the pertinent "Wi-Fi" connection information in the room. The room has a small wrought iron table and two chairs. I believe that the photo's of the room are accurate and the description reflects that there is only 220 square feet.
