My American dad met my Danish mom as he was riding his Vespa across the Middle East and Europe. As a result of their wandering my sister and I spent the early years of our childhood with our parents on a small Greek island. We later moved to Providence R.I.
After high school I lived for three years on a socialist kibbutz in Israel and came home with the best souvenir: my husband of almost 30 years.
We have two awesome adult(ish) kids.
I write and publish a food blog.
We bought our Victorian house 15 years ago and renovated it top to bottom. My favorite part of our property is the garden. When we first saw the house, the yard was a graveled over parking lot and we have, through sweaty and pleasurable labour, turned it into a green and floriferous paradise.
We enjoy meeting new people and hearing the stories of their lives and travels that they choose to share with us.
