Peaceful and away from it all but close enough to explore the beauty of the Peak District and Chatsworth House. Matlock is a couple of miles away with restaurants, shops and amenities. You can start exploring from the door step; we can help with guides, directions and recommendations. The room can be configured as a luxury Super King or twin beds.

Surrounded by breathtaking countryside, the cottage provides a peaceful retreat, while being just a short drive from popular destinations such as Bakewell, Chatsworth, Matlock, and Matlock Bath. At Knabb Farm, we offer private parking for all guests, and our 7 acres of private land provide plenty of space to explore and enjoy the stunning surroundings.

Dolly’s Stable 2 Leger lakes

Relax with family or friends at this peaceful place to stay. The stables have one bedroom and the lounge area has a double sofa bed. There are three stables adjoining so also great for going with friends or family. Leger lakes is a small family run business, three small fishing lakes. The Ruby lake has five camping pods. We have tearoom on site with 5 star hygiene rating. The tearoom is also licensed, Laughton is a small village and has beautiful walks and places of interest to visit.

The Tack Store, 6p barn conversion + hot tub

The Tack Store is a new barn conversion on our small farm outside the village of Silkstone. Views are some of the best in South Yorkshire, overlooking rolling hills and woodland, it's a perfect escape for those who love peace, quiet & walking. Equally we are only 1.5m from the M1 for guests wanting a more varied experience. We are child and pet friendly. We have tried really hard to create a relaxing home away from home. A hot tub will be installed for bookings April 25 onwards.
