“Madklubben Vesterbro is decorated in contemporary style with Børge Mogensen- and Eames chairs and round tables. Although the large windows are right next to the busy Vesterbrogade street, the subdued light makes the restaurant cozy and intimate. You will also find a cocktail bar where you can enjoy a drink with or without reservations. The cuisine is classic Danish and international bestsellers, and you put together your own menu, by selecting one, two, three or four courses.”

“At Café Bang & Jensen, the atmosphere is cosy and relaxed, and you will feel instantly at home among the quaint lamps and odd unmatched chairs. On sunny days, it can be tricky to find a table outside, but inside the café there are plenty of old sofas and armchairs to choose from. Between 08:00 and 10:00 you can tuck into a delicious breakfast buffet. After 10:00 you can make individual brunch orders: hard- or soft-boiled eggs, organic coffee or green rhubarb tea. The café has a wireless hotspot if you need to get your laptop online.”

“One of the classic favorites (especially among instagrammers) is the chain Wulff & Konstali. The hit concept is that you put together your brunch, which is served in small picture perfect bowls. The menu contains 22 dishes, which are always adapted to the season's supply of raw materials, from which you choose either five or seven of the kind. All the food is made from scratch and the bread is baked in the on-site bakery. Try, for example, crispy bacon with fresh thyme, tuna mousse with wasabi and cold pea soup with mint and salty almonds. If the sweet tooth is to be spoiled, you can optionally supplement with birch waffle with berry foam or an organic chia powder with mango puree.”
