“The Broadway bar where you're most likely to find a Nashvillian. Classic country music, two-stepping, and cheap beer. Don't knock fried bologna and fried pickles until you've had them at Robert's.”

History Museum
“This is a good place for the fan of Johnny Cash and for those who want to know more about him. There are a lot of things to see and learn in this museum. They also added a cafe to let the visitor enjoy their stay. Address: 119 3rd Ave S, Nashville, TN 37201 (1.2 miles/6 mins drive) ”

Foro musical
“This is a Nashville staple located in an unassuming strip mall in what looks like suburbia. You’ll need tickets for a show on the weekend, but you can often get in to an “in the round” show on weeknights. Those are first come first served, so get there early for a spot. Order sweet potato fries.”

Restaurante de comida sureña
“It’s super crowded on weekends and they don’t take reservations but a little known secret is that they do call ahead seating, so you can get your name on the list before arriving. This is a trek about 30 minutes west but is absolutely worth it. Breakfast is beyond awesome. ”

Cafetería
“*Frothy Monkey has an amazing food & drink menu!! Unique flavored lattes, and the Gail salad + California breakfast are the best!! Also have awesome sangria!! Theres a bunch of locations around Nashville, but 12 South is the OG Frothy! The line for brunch on the weekend can be nuts, but it really is an all-time fave!!!”

Cafetería
“Ugly Mugs offers full-service coffee selections and a breakfast/lunch menu. It may be difficult to accommodate a large group (8+) for seating as it is the local favorite for remote workers but it is a perfect destination to get coffees/teas to go. Located in the Eastland Neighbors section of East Nashville, close to Jeni's Ice Cream, Five Daughters Bakery, RosePepper Mexican Cantina, and Two Ten Jack Izakaya and Ramen House.”

Sitio para desayunar
“If you drive through Hillsboro Village on the weekends (and sometimes on the weekdays) you’ll see a line of people wrapped around the building on the corner of 21st Ave S and Blakemore. This is the line for pancake pantry. There’s a reason people stand in line for this place. The sweet potato pancakes are my favorite (so so good) but all the pancakes are perfection. If you want to try it out, I suggest a late arrival (They close at 3:00, so maybe around 1:30) or a weekday visit to minimize wait times. Their only downfall is that the coffee sucks. You’ve been warned.”

Pastelería
“Small batch neighborhood bakery offering a variety of both sweet and savory items. Baked fresh and from scratch. Best Egg & Cheddar biscuit in the city.”

Pastelería
“With three locations (in 12South, East Nashville, and Charlotte Ave), this family-run bakery makes a variety of donuts. There are traditional yeast donuts and vegan and paleo options. But what they’re known for is their 100-layer donut–the combination of a donut and croissant is rolled in sugar, filled with cream, and glazed.”

Tienda de dónuts
“After one bite of their hundred layer doughnuts you will see why they are a Nashville staple!”

Tienda de bagels
“In walking distance, this bagel shop is a local favorite! I'm a big fan of the sun dried tomato bagels. Great early in the morning, gets crowded for weekend brunch.”

Pastelería
“Repeat after me: almond croissant, almond croissant, almond croissant. Honestly, while you’re at it you should probably go ahead and go here first so you can grab a fresh baguette or loaf of bread for your stay in Nashville! This is our weekly fav to grab a pastry, coffee, and bread for the week. There is usually always a table to sit at despite its smaller size and would be a great spot to catch a few hours of work.”

“Small bakery run by Texas transplants specializing in authentic Kolaches. Terrific cinnamon buns, too.”
