The least expensive, most "authentic" Sri Lankan neighborhood supermarket. Not as sterile as a Western supermarket, but very friendly, and you'll find food staples, groceries, soap and basic kitchen needs here.

Getting Around

If you're ever looking for the train, Sri Lankan's usually say (and understand) "Railway Station" rather than "Train Station". :)

Entertainment & Activities

I haven't personally taken this tour but here's a guest review: "We went with Marissa Water Sports and can recommend. Started off as a social enterprise to provide jobs to youth post the tsunami crisis. They follow the Whales and dolphins conservation society standards, have been responsible with the their approach (unlike many other boats) and is not overcrowded. I'd recommend it. If people want to have even fewer people on their boat, probably should refrain from bargaining. We paid 7500 per person but had a double deck boat with about 15 of us so was specious AF."
