This is a great little Czech restaurant with a fantastic menu of foods and beers. The Czech pilsners are perfect, and the Happy Hour is a great deal. Their Schnitzel is wonderful!

This is our local BBQ place for take-out or sit down. It also has a nice bar where you can eat and grab a beer. The service inside is not great, but the BBQ is excellent! I love the Smokehouse melt with brisket and the fried brusselsprouts on the side!

Always has a great draft beer list and one of the most impressive whiskey lists in DC. It has a nice interior, but also a nice local feel. The bar food is also decent and goes well with beer.
Try: If you like IPAs, the DC Brau Corruption is an excellent choice.
