The Castle and the castle grounds are a must-see. A local tip - the backfield of the castle is great for a picnic, it's a wild meadow and there is also a lovely walk down by the canal just outside the castle walls.

This is a unique spot run by the local cardiologist. It's tiny and you'll definitely strike up conversations whether you want or not. It's a hidden gem and you'll find it in a small lane off High Street. Often there is music in the room upstairs. If you're open to the unexpected, stop in here for a drink.
