This is a great place for gem mining you can be outdoors or in the caboose for cold or rainy weather! Our kids love this!!

Winter Things To Do
Go to the slopes from our condo in a five minute walk!! Rent your gear, bring it up and walk to slopes, ski down get your lift ticket and keep going until you walk back to the condo!
During the winter months you can snowboard, ski, ice skate, tubing, take lessons at the polar bear school...so much to do! In the warmer months, you can mountain bike down the trails.

Sightseeing
This is nice to visit year round but better in the warmer months for hiking and seeing the animals outdoors. Stop for fudge and see the animals and the nature museum on your way up. Then park at the big parking lot overlook then take the path to the left and hike up to GF mountain. Then you can take the bridge over. It is always very windy and even chilly in the summer months so take jackets! There is a gift shop and restrooms at stairs. Across the street are many more trails for the avid hiker!
