Plan to take the entire day and check the ferry timetable before you go. 40 min drive from Geilston Bay to Kettering where the ferry leaves from.

Check out the Lolly shop! Plan for about a half day, the oldest bridge in Australia. Check out the beautiful churches, antique shops etc. Good food options.

Lots of beautiful stalls with artisan products, spirit tastings, fresh produce and eateries, my favourites are Salamanca Images, site 163 for artisan Huon Pine products, Tasmanian Honey stall, McHenrys Gin and whisky tastings and Dr Coffee for the coffee lovers.

Salmon ponds is close to a national park. You could use a full day to explore both. Relax at the ponds then go for a walk at Mt field to see the waterfalls

If your leaving Hobart and heading St Helens way it’s a must see. Has been highly recommended from
