Sightseeing
You can go to many of the sightseeing places on foot. Take a right on Water Street and you will pass Brewster Gardens, Plymouth Rock, Mayflower II, and beautiful Plymouth waterfront, lots of souvenir shops, get an ice cream cone and seafood restaurants if you bear right at the rotary, also know as a roundabout. Head left on any side street and you will be downtown, with a many restaurants and bars. Go left or south on Main Street and you will end back on Water Street where you will find Emerald Street. Main Street leads to Sandwich Street and you will find historic houses dating back to the 1600s. or bear right in Summer Street and you'll find another historic house and the Griss Mill.
For a day trip to Cape Cod take route 3 over the Sagamore bridge. Be warned there could be slow going because of traffic.
A day trip to Boston can be by train from the Kingston commuter rail or a 45 plus minute drive up route 3.

Beaches
Plymouth Beach on Ryder Way is a public beach. There is a daily $20 entry pass which is refundable if you eat at Sandy's and leave within an hour and a half and is dog friendly up to the public areas and requires a leash.
