Food scene
These are our favorite haunts closeby which we have most enjoyed.
The Conch Republic is a short walk from the condo where you can enjoy lunch or dinner or hang out at the bar. There is outdoor seating and the bar is partly outdoor so you can choose to sit inside or out. The restaurant has key west fare, and we recommend the bloody mary's and mojitos - yum!

This quaint lovely cafe is a must during your visit to Redington Beach. Very interesting decor and it includes a little shop inside. We recommend going early for breakfast to avoid the crowds. If it is not too hot, we recommend sitting outside in the super interesting patio with fountains and many cute touches.
You can park on the street or in the small lot, but you might rather walk here to avoid parking issues. The Sweet Sage is located just beyond The Conch Republic.

Sweet Sage Cafe
16725 Gulf BlvdThis quaint lovely cafe is a must during your visit to Redington Beach. Very interesting decor and it includes a little shop inside. We recommend going early for breakfast to avoid the crowds. If it is not too hot, we recommend sitting outside in the super interesting patio with fountains and many cute touches.

Caddy's is a waterfront restaurant in Madeira Beach, just down Gulf Blvd from the Royal Orleans. Get there early to get parking and have access to food, drinks and music all day.

Sightseeing
Visit the beach or local parks within walking distance of Royal Orleans Condominium.
Adjacent to the Royal Orleans Condominium, right next door is the Redington Beach Town Park. If you have kids, there is a playground or visit the park to workout on the gym equipment. There is a covered area with tables if you would like to enjoy a picnic. (corner of Gulf Boulevard and 164th Avenue)
The Town's parks are:
Town Park (corner of Gulf Boulevard and 164th Avenue)
Friendship Park (164th Avenue, across from Town Hall)
Moon Park (beach side of Gulf Boulevard at 157th Avenue)
Causeway Park (along 161st Avenue causeway)
Additionally, there are “triangle” parks replete with beautiful flowers and native foliage plantings located at the intersections of:

159th Avenue and Redington Drive
160th Avenue and 2nd Street
161st Avenue and 2nd Street

This park is located a short walk through the neighborhood and has water access. The park has a memorial to 911 and zen garden features for a relaxing afternoon or morning meditation. Bring a blanket and chill in the shade then dip your toes in the water to cool off. (164th Avenue, across from Town Hall)
