Gorgeous sandbanks beach is a 3.1 mile lightly trafficed loop trail located near Prince Edward County, Ontario. The trail is good for all skill levels and is primerily used for walking, running and snowshoeing. Dogs are also able to use this trail and must be kept on leash.
The park is considered one of the best sandy beaches in Ontario and contains the largest bay, mouth barrier dune formation in the world.
There are 3 separate beaches the Sandbanks, the Dunes, and the Outlet. Book ahead for your summer day pass at least 3 or more days ahead as it books up fast. Go on their site to book.

In the Wintertime a great hill to toboggan and cross country ski and snowshoe trails. Lovely old 9 hole golf course with beautiful trees and landscape to admire while out for a round. Outdoor patio to wine and dine at in old clubhouse.
