This is a fantastic place to go from the "Terminal del norte" a buses terminal that you could take from the metro in Caribe Station. From the terminal, you ask for a bus to Guatapé and ask the driver to drop you off in "La Piedra del Peñol". After this, you could go the the town Guatapé in a tuk-tuk.
I suggest you to go in the morning. It takes 2,5H from Medellin by bus.

This is a beautiful and colorful town in Antioquia. It is as close as 15 minutes in tuk-tuk from the "Piedra del Peñol". Here you could walk arround in front of the bay, have lunch, try diferents traditional dishes and have a nice coffee. After spending time in "La Piedra del Peñol" and "Guatapé", you could come back to Medellin in a bus from the town to the terminal of Medellin.
