Things to Do

Take "The Lift", a year round Free Shuttle Bus to Winter Park Resort and Village (Skiing, tubing, ice skating, shopping, dining, hiking, mountain biking) and into Downtown Fraser and Downtown Winter Park (dining, shopping). Walk out of house and take a right on Wapiti Drive. The bus stop is in 250 feet at the corner of Wapiti Drive and Ermine. Down Load “Lift Rider” app to check exact times of pickup. For SKIING, SNOWBOARDING, MOUNTAIN BIKING check out Winter Park Ski Resort, YMCA of the Rockies, Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby at Granby Ranch. For EASY HIKING AND SNOWSHOEING (Use All Trails App if needed) check out Fraser River Trail (Trail Head is a minute from our house on County Road 8 just past 837 Quail Drive Fraser, CO), St. Louis Creek Loop in Fraser, Jim Creek Trail inWinter Park. For MODERATE DIFFICULTY HIKING/SNOWSHOEING check out Mount Flora Hike (Highest elevation of Berthoud pass/Continental Divide on US 40, park at rest area)Second Creek Trail to Twin Cones (on North end of Berthoud Pass on US 40). For DIFFCULT HIKE/SNOWSHOEING try summit Byers Peak (12,804') (road to trail head open in the summer). For ALL HIKES/SNOESHOING check out Rocky Mountain National Park. For CROSS COUNTRY SKIING check out Fraser Valley Sports Complex (free), Devil’s Thumb Ranch (award winning), Snow Mountain Ranch. For PLAYGROUNDS/REC CENTERS check outFraser Valley Sports Complex (Playground, Beach Volleyball, Climbing, Basketball, Big Grass Fields), Grand Park Community Recreation Center in Fraser (Swimming, Basketball, Gym), Hideaway Park in Winter Park (Playground, Skate Park). For SLEDDING check out Fraser Tubing Hill, Coca Cola Tubing Hill at Winter Park Ski resort. For SNOWMOBILING check out Grand Adventures in Winter Park. For BEACH/WATER/SPORTS/BOATING check out Lake Granby, Grand Lake.
