If you're coming up from Brisbane, leave the Bruce Highway and head up to Maleny. Take in the art galleries, great shops, cafes and stunning views, all along the ridge through Montville and Mapleton.

This is SUCH a fabulous, calm and serene outing. It's a half day tour to places on the river you wouldn't get to otherwise, a birdlife sanctuary including lunch and morning tea. Can highly recommend.
