Certainly not for types who don't like to be dirty, this is a genuine behind the scenes experience ideal for older kids who think they'd like to work in the industry.

Llandrindod Wells Lake is a beautiful and peaceful place to walk, run, cycle or just sit and watch the wild life, do a spot of fishing or have a family picnic or you can hire a boat to explore the lake from the water but don’t get too wet under the Water Beast fountain! The lake has a restaurant where you can eat inside or outside. Gift shop and toilets
The lake really is full of Llandrindod Wellness and its where the town Wellness Walks start and finish. The circular walk around the lake is 1km long and there’s a 3km and 5km route if you’d like to discover a bit more of our lovely town. There are also walks up through the woodland SSSI at the side of the lake and the Lakeside café does great food!
This is the third year running that the Powys spa town has topped the Welsh rankings.
To be fair, it’s not difficult to see why it’s such a wonderful and happy place to visit and live. Kids play area.

Sculpted out of the natural contours of the land by men and horses equipped with pick, shovel, wheel barrows and horse drawn carts - no mighty earth moving machinery with which to change the face of nature - it remains today largely unchanged since its creation. Improved, perhaps, lovingly cared for, certainly, and offering the golfer the chance to play golf as it was meant to be played, on an immaculately prepared and presented piece of golfing heaven.
Perhaps best described as an "Upland Links" course, it provides a true test for golfers of all abilities. Lush upland turf on which the ball sits up invitingly, turf banks and natural hazards, with well protected true greens, rated amongst the best in Wales, it offers the chance to play links type golf amongst the rolling hills. By the standards of today, the course is not long but do not be lulled into thinking that it is a push over; against a par of 69 the course record still stands at only 65.

During this one and a half hour experience, we will cover the history of the Red Kite in Wales and how this spectacular Bird , despite setbacks, has returned from the brink of extinction and become symbolic to Wales.
After an initial lesson in handling the bird, we will start our walk in the surrounding hills. During this walk you will be able to witness the birds effortless, graceful flight in the skies above us. Occasionally calling the bird to your glove for its reward.
You will be at one with a Red Kite and its natural environment. If you are lucky, you may see wild Red Kites flying in to join our Red Kite, and see them playing on the soar.

About Borth Beach"
Because of its shallow waters Borth beach is well suited to families with young children and is also a popular location for swimming, surfing, fishing, sailing and windsurfing and for walking the dog out of season.
The small town has a good range of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and local services as well as a slipway for launching small boats and a cafe close by.
To its north and east, Borth is surrounded by protected sites; a massive peat bog - Cors Goch Fochno - and the magnificent sand dune system of the Dyfi National Nature Reserve at Ynyslas. Here you will find a seasonal Information Centre operated by Natural Resources Wales where the significance of the nature reserve is explained.
Borth is a popular base for walkers on the Wales Coast Coast and marks the northern end of the Ceredigion Coast Path. Is also the western end of one of Ceredigion's other walking routes climbing high into the Cambrian Mountains and linking to the Bwlch Nant yr Arian Visitor and Red Kite Feeding Centre, Devil's Bridge, Cwm Ystwyth and the historic Hafod Estate before proceeding to Pontrhydfendigaid. This route forms a grand circle returning via the Ystwyth Trail, a combined footpath and cycle route, towards Aberystwyth.
THE PETRIFIED FOREST & THE LEGEND OF CANTRE'R' GWAELOD
An ancient submerged forest is visible at certain times of the year at low tide along the stretch of shore. Pine, Oak, Birch and Willow stumps can be seen when the tide retreats up to 150 yards.The petrified forest has become associated with a 17th Century myth of a sunken civilization known as Cantre'r Gwaelod, or the Sunken Hundred.
According to the legend, the kingdom was lost at sea when Seithenyn, the guardian of sea defences, forgot to close the gates. In one version of the myth, the forest stretched 20 miles to the west of Cardigan Bay.

As members of the British Alpaca Association and Kennel club, we are ethical breeders who care deeply for our animals.
Our Farm is situated in a wonderfully scenic part of Mid Wales with amazing views of the Brecon hills and beautiful Welsh countryside.

We are a small family run business that own and breed Alpacas and Labrador dogs which is an interesting combination!
As members of the British Alpaca Association and Kennel club, we are ethical breeders who care deeply for our animals.
Our Farm is situated in a wonderfully scenic part of Mid Wales with amazing views of the Brecon hills and beautiful Welsh countryside.
If you would like to get up close and personal with Alpacas we offer a range of experiences by appointment that start from £25 per person which is the trekking with Alpacas experiences.
Other activities we can offer can be tailored to your needs. Meet & Greets, educational sessions and Alpaca boot camps for those interested in owning their own Alpacas.

About Us
The Phil Price Rally School was set up in 1989 by Phil Price. He ran it along side his wife Sheila for 30 years. Phil completed in many Rally events and spent years building & preparing rally cars.
Phil built the first of its kind 4WD Group B rally car which won the York National rally event the day after he finished it. He would proudly boast that the “Great Ayrton Senna” drove this car during a rally driving day put on for him by Car & Car Conversions giving him the opportunity to test his skills at Rally driving. Ayrton’s remark at the end of the day was “Very impressive!”.
In 2020, while terminally ill, Phil sold his beloved Rally School to long standing friend and colleague John Caine. John has over 20 years of Rally experience and continues to run Phil’s rally school upholding the infamous standard as Phil always had.
We provide a great venue for you here using authentic Welsh rally stages and use RWD & 4WD Subaru Impreza’s. John along with our professional instructors are fully qualified holding BARS Instructor Licences and will ensure they bring the best out of your driving skills giving you loads of “hands on driving” learning slides, drifts, Scandinavian flick, opposite lock and much more.
If you want to know what it feels like sliding through corners, your heart beating overtime to the roaring sound of the rally car with sweaty palms grasped tightly to the steering wheel and a smile from ear to ear – then get in touch!
