Many people sneak away to the Oasis to grab a bite and be in the presence of breath taking views :) I highly recommend stopping by "VICE Cream" for a scoop of your favorite ice cream. It's a cute shop with tons of charm, including the "Being Cool is Kind" greeting in giant letters as you walk through the door.

The west side of the park features high, limestone cliffs and numerous rocky coves with some of the most impressive views available of Lake Travis, especially at sunset.

If you are up for a drive into town, Austin is only 45 minutes away. Explore downtown, or take a walk around the beautiful Lady Bird Lake (I saw Lucy Liu jogging there once). Valentina's Tex-Mex will blow your mind. If you are into Live music, check out The Austin Beer Garden, Cosmic Coffee, and Meanwhile Brewing. Don't forget to take a picture in front of the iconic "I Love You So Much" sign.

You can drive and get lost in the beautiful hill country, soaking in the Lake peak-a-boo's around many corners. You will notice many of our neighbors cruise around in golf carts, this is definitely a staple for our community. Lago Vista is North West of Austin, 45 minutes from Downtown, and 15 minutes from Cedar Park. If you need some basics, HEB is right in town in Cedar Park. Lago has tons of parks, you will also find lots of our deer friends roaming around.
