Mercado Sano, is a pricey organic market and restaurant, juice bar & yoga studio. Bring your own bag! You can find high quality produce ( the spinach & greens are amazing as are the cherry tomatoes) There is a cafe with tempting baked goods and chais and coffees. There is also a new vegetarian restaurant opening up on the top floor. I recommend the cheeses, meats and Vegan products.

La Comer
Big Grocery store. Takes about 15 minutes via taxi or Uber. I often take the bus. They pretty much have everything you might need. They even have pajamas!
The new City Market brings a little bit of Glam rock star gourmet foodie shopping to San Miguel de Allende. It’s fun & delicious & very pricey.

They have a small selection of produce, breads, snacks, cool drinks, wine, beer, tequila, soap, shampoo, dairy case, and small little items that you might need. Everyone loves it & they are open from 8am to 8pm except on Sundays when they close early and some holidays they are closed.

Charco de Ingenio: A gem of biodiversity up in the hills above our beautiful city. Many succulent species & endangered species. Totally cool garden nature preserve. Probably good to take an Uber and sunscreen, water, hat and comfy walking shoes as you rejoice in the beauty of Mexico's unique beauty. Lucky you, you explored something special:))

This street is within walking distance of my Casa and has a little something for everyone! There is an art center, a new bar, several excellent restaurants, cafes and produce stands. There is also a gourmet organic market, dance and yoga studios, an ATM and the hotel at the end rents day passes to the swimming pool. Check it out!
