Kilauea Lodge is a cozy, beautiful space to have brunch, lunch and dinner. Some of our favorites are the King's Benedict and Loco Moco. Their salads and burgers are delicious and distinctly fresh and locally sourced and organic. Their staff is super friendly and attentive. It feels like going to Grandma's house and being nourished from head to belly to toes.

Their salads and burgers are delicious and distinctly fresh and locally sourced and organic. Their staff is super friendly and attentive. It feels like going to Grandma's house and being nourished from head to belly to toes.
This is not your ordinary cafe. The art gallery and shop, meditation grounds and people make Cafe Ono our favorite cafe on the island. We can sit their for hours inspired by the ambience, art and people. Beautiful garden areas to have your lunch and coffee. Vegetarian fair with yummy soups, salads, quiches, casseroles, lasagnas and sandwiches ohhhh and the deserts are to die for! The staff is so loving, eclectic and friendly. Say hi to Ira for us!

An authentically yummy Thai restaurant with incredible dishes from their Chicken Laab Salad to their Pad Thai and Curries, you really can not order wrong. A family run business with friendly staff. You don't need to travel to Thailand to get a burst of authentic Thai food.

The Rim and the bar next door have the most stunning views on the island as they face the Kilauea Crater. When the sun sets around 7pm, you begin to experience the glow of the lava light up the sky. A wonderful place for fine dining or you can opt for yummy pupus and cocktails at the bar. Try the crab cakes and chicken wings and say yes to whatever the bartenders suggests ... they have not steered us wrong yet.

They also offer beautiful art shows from time to time as well as musical performances like Jazz in the Rainforest evenings. From time to time, they also have yoga and meditation classes. It is a great place to meet the artists of Volcano Village.
