There is a shared path/cycleway that circumnavigates the entire lagoon. It's about 11km from our home all the way around and home again. There are picnic spots, lookouts, drink fountains and public toilets at several places around the lagoon.

Close by and easily accessible by car or along the bike track from our house. The beach is patrolled during summer and is well served by cafes, restaurants and ice-cream stores.
