There are not really nice coffee shops around my home, but Starbucks does feed the need. Keep in mind that it is quite expensive in Switzerland, but they do have good coffee!

For the early birds: Oerlikon hosts one of the best and biggest farmers markets in Zurich. They have fruit, veggies, flowers, bread and more.
