Perry's is a San Francisco institution. It's been around forever and is the epitome of comfort food and drinks. Anchor Steam, Wedge Salad and some Macaroni and Cheese is my go-to.

This is a very nice italian place. 2 or 3 can sit at the bar, or grab the booth that is hidden behind the stairs.

Come to Roses for brunch... get the breakfast pizza w/truffle oil. Good for dinner too, but brunch is nice. Sit outside on the Steiner St side, if it's nice out.

This is an awesome bar - divey and very comfortable. There are pool tables in the back, some arcade games, drink specials - an eclectic crowd, usually a mix of locals and 20-30 somethings.
