The Forgotten Florida 100,50, 15, & 8 mile run
This is an annual event, that happens in the month of February.
They have multiple runs.
100 mile, 50 mile, 15 mile, and 8 mile run, through several forest trails, that are sections of the Florida National Scenic Trail.
It takes you through the Little Big Econ State Forest, Charles Bronson State Forest, Seminole Ranch, Tosohatchee Management Area, and more.
It is a really well organized event.
I have had several guests that have participated in this event.
To see many birds, to be surrounded by their environment, alligators, hike a palm forest, learn about water recycling, experience an inlightened feeling of the bird environment, as you shed the many layers of stress.
It's such a peaceful feeling.
A great place to create some plein-air paintings.

You will see Deer Moss, which live for hundreds of years.

And it's ONLY 3.5 MILES from
Clear Landing.

If you have a kayak or canoe this is a nice quiet lake/place with white sandy beach to have some romantic time.
