Iconic, this restaurant is the oldest in Kitsilano. It's been around since the 60's. Great vegetarian food and bohemian vibe unchanged from the hippie era it originates from. Live music every night at 7pm to serenade you during dinner. Great prices make it busy after 630pm most nights. Open 24 hours too!

It's a little on the pricey side, but this is Thai done in a way I've never had anywhere else! High end presentation with flavors to match. Worth it for a spurge.

Granville Island has it all, a yummy food market, prepared food area, JJ Bean coffee in the market (worth finding if you like quality coffee), shopping, buskers, topped off with beautiful views. Oh, and why not rent a boat? You can do that too.
